Research Abstract

多数存在すると考えられる統合失調症感受性遺伝子を、ゲノムワイド探索とともに候補遺伝子探索の両面から統計遺伝学的な手法を用いてできるだけ同定し、可能なものについては細胞レベルや個体レベルでの解析を行うことにより、機能面での裏付けを得る。さらに再現性の高い遺伝子についてはそれら遺伝子の関わるネットワークを解析することにより、疾患の分子機構を遺伝子ネットワークの面から明らかにする。
