Research Abstract

子宮内膜とその関連疾患についてのシグナル伝達機構とその制御について臨床にフィードバックできる多くの貴重なデータを得ることができ、周辺の事項も含めて発展的に理解を深めることができた。子宮内膜症に関しては、発症機序について多くの新しい知見を得ることができ、さらに、アポトーシスやT細胞免疫に新たな分子標的を見出すことにより不妊症治療につながる新たな展開をもたらした。一方、正所性子宮内膜に関しては、月経周期にともなう組織学的変化を支える種々のシグナル伝達機構や、その制御異常による不妊症などについて多くの知見を得ることができた。
