| Research Abstract |
様々な環境負荷要因による劣化の進行が著しい熱帯・亜熱帯域のアジア・太平洋諸国の沿岸生態系の保全に学術面から寄与するべく, 地域の環境負荷要因の発生・波及・作用過程について, フィリピン, フィジー, サモア, 沖縄で様々な現地調査を行うとともに, 種々の数値モデルの開発, 衛星画像解析, 底質コア分析等を実施した. そして, これらの成果を地域コミュニティーによる沿岸生態系保全の現場に役立てるための方法論の検討を行った.
