| Research Abstract |
都心の宅地斜面の地震災害は, 自然の斜面とも人工斜面とも確かには判定しかねる斜面で発生することが多い。こうした斜面を"崖っぷち"と呼び, その実態の解明と災害リスクを表現した地図"崖っぷち"マップのプロトタイプを東京の目黒川下流域を対象地域として作成した。調査の過程で, 地域の開発史を反映した災害・環境汚染リスク(大谷石の不良擁壁, 重金属汚染盛土)の存在も明らかになり, "崖っぷち"が内包する問題の広がりと深さを具体的に明らかにする事ができた。
