Research Abstract

イネゲノムDNA 変異の大規模解析を実施した。イネ染色体上の22 箇所の領域、計26kb のDNA 配列を、栽培イネOryza sativa とその近縁野生種の30 系統について決定した。DNA 変異の系統解析の結果、日本型イネとインド型イネは、野生種O. rufipogon から独立に起原したことが明らかになった。さらに、品種「ひとめぼれ」において、5000 系統の突然変異系統群を作出した。「ササニシキ」突然変異系統を用いて、いもち病菌真性抵抗性遺伝子Pia を同定した。
