Research Abstract

利己主義を前提としたライフサイクルモデル、利他主義モデル、王朝モデル、社会的規範モデルなど、家計行動を説明しようとする理論モデルは数多く存在するが、実際にはこれらのうち、どのモデルが成り立っているのであろうか。本研究の目的は、様々なアンケート調査からの個票データを用いて日本における世代間移転(遺産、生前贈与)および親子関係について吟味し、そうすることによって、どの家計行動に関する理論モデルが日本において成り立っているかを明らかにすることである。具体的には、遺産やそれ以外の世代間移転がどのくらいあり、子供がどの程度高齢の親と同居し、どの程障高齢の親の世話、介護、経済的援助をするかを明与かにし、これらの行動の決定要因について検証し、親の遺産やそれ以外の世代間移転(または親の資産)と子供が高齢の親と同居し、高齢の親の世話、介護、経済的援助などをする度合いの間にどの程度の相関があるかについて吟味することによって、日本においてどの家計行動に関する理論モデルが成り立っているかを明らかにした。平成19年度においては、まず、家計行動に関する4つの理論モデル(ライフ・サイクル仮説、利他主義モデル、王朝モデル、社会的規範モデル)を構築し、それらのモデルの世代間移転、親子関係に対する含蓄を導出した。次に、推定モデルおよび検定する仮説について検討し、最後に、使用するデータ(特に「親子ペア調査」(大阪大学21世紀COE)、「家族についての全国調査」(日本家族社会学会全国家族調査委員会)、「世帯内分配・世代間移転に関する研究調査」(財団法人家計経済研究所)の整理および分析を行い、分析結果を吟味した。
