| Research Abstract |
1.「Modified Jacobi-Perron algorithm からつくられる主近似分数が、よい同時近似を与えるかどうか」という問いについて、主近似のみならず、中間近似を取り込めばよい近似を与える、という定理をタイリング理論の応用として証明することができた(伊藤-安富:On simultaneous Diophantine approximation to periodic points related to modified Jacobi-Perron algorithm)
2.Unimodular non-Pisot substitution(autolnorphism)と準周期タイリングについて automorphism(substitution)からタイリングsubstitution(extension of autolnorphismとも呼ばれる)をつくる方法を用いて、そのタイリングsubstitutionが、向きを保存(表向きのタイルを表向きのタイルたちに移す)タイリング substitution となるような4次 non-Pisot 数 substitution のクラスを与えることに成功した(古門-伊藤)。
3.(ある特定のモデルではあるが)reducible Pisot substitution からつくられる tiling substitution を用い、Riemann 面上をタイルする自然な(しかし風変わりな)タイリングが発見された(榎本-江居-古門-伊藤:Tilings of a Riemann surface and cubic Pisot numbers)。
4.Low discrepancey 列と準周期タイリングの話題に関連して準周期フラクタルタイリングから多くの場合、domain exchange 変換が定義され、その変換による原点の軌道は、low discrepancy となるように思われる。このことそのものの証明はいまだ難しいが、domain exchange 変換がオドメータ変換と同形になることは正しそうで、いくつかのクラスではそれがいえている(市川-伊藤)
なお、本研課題の研究費による-部援助のもと、タイリング研究を主テーマとした二つの workshop "Number Theory and Ergodic Theory 2007"(於:金沢大学,2007.9,27-29)、「数論とエルゴード理論」(於:金沢大学,2008.2.9-11)が行なわれた。
