Research Abstract |
本研究では、希土類元素Ceを含む重い電子系化合物の薄膜化技術を確立し、CeCoIn5超伝導体のc軸配向薄膜、CeIn3反強磁性体のエピタキシャル薄膜、およびCeIn3とLaIn3のエピタキシャル人工超格子の作製に成功した.Ce系重い電子系のエピタキシャル薄膜作製は世界初の成果である.さらに人工超格子の作製により、重い電子系の次元性を制御することが可能になり、低次元化による反強磁性の抑制とそれに伴う非フェルミ液体的物性の発現の観測に成功した.今後2次元の重い電子系における新しい物理学の展望が期待できる.
