Research Abstract

強相関希土類化合物では,外部からの圧力や磁場・温度を変化させることで,局在から量子臨界点を経由して非局在状態へ移行する。その量子臨界点近傍では,磁性と伝導が複雑に絡み合い,非従来型の超伝導などの特異な物性が現れる。本研究では,このような特異な物性の起源となっている電子状態を低温・高磁場・高圧下の赤外・テラヘルツ分光およびシンクロトロン放射光を用いた三次元角度分解光電子分光で解明した。
