| Research Abstract |
西南日本内帯の美濃帯坂祝セクションとフィリピン北パラワン地塊のDimangletセクションにおいて, 遠洋性堆積物であるチャート層の地質柱状図を作成した. 両者の比較から, より珪質な岩相が卓越する層準が, 美濃帯のチャートと北パラワン地塊のチャートとでは差異のあることが明らかになった. この差異は, チャートが超大洋パンサラサの別の部分で堆積したことによると考察された. 放散虫の飼育実験においては, 蛍光試薬を用いた検討により, 飼育海水中でシリカの固定が行われていることが確認された.
