沈み込み帯鉱物の単結晶高温高圧構造の研究

Research Abstract

前年度までの研究で, オリビン族の鉱物であるFeを含まない含水フォルステライトとFeを含む含水フォルステライトで, Feを含まない場合、vacancyは主としてMgl-siteに, Feを含むときvacancyは主としてMg2-siteに見出され、結晶構造中に水を取り込む機構が異なることがわかった. これを手掛かりとして、温度圧力化学組成によるオリビンの格子定数変化の異方性を, 結晶構造中の配位多面体の大きさの変化の自由度についての対称性からの制約の観点から定性的に説明することができた. 地球の上部マントル上部の主要構成鉱物であるオリビンの物性の異方性の原因を結晶構造の観点から明らかにした.
ヒユーマイト族鉱物の一つ, ノルベルジャイトについて8.2GPaまでの高圧下単結晶X線回折法で結晶構造を調べ, 含水鉱物の構造におよぼす圧力の影響を調べた.
ゼオライト族の鉱物の一つ, ヒューランダイトの結晶構造を300℃までの高温下単結晶X線回折法で解析し, 部分的に脱水した構造の解析を行い, 含水鉱物の構造におよぼす温度の影響を調べた.
