| Research Abstract |
太陽光から得たエネルギーを電子の流れへと変換を行う光合成反応中心、および、その周りに存在する色素タンパク質では、巧みに色素分子が配列され、エネルギーの流れの制御がなされている。本研究では、反応中心が必要とするエネルギーより低いエネルギーを持つ色素に着目し、(1) 様々な光合成色素タンパク質に存在する低エネルギー色素の同定、(2) 低エネルギー色素の光合成における機能、(3) 低エネルギー色素の発現法、について考察した。
