| Research Abstract |
カブトガニの自然免疫系で働くファクターGのZ2ドメインが、β-1, 3-グルカンを特異的に認識すること解明するとともに、Z2と蛍光タンパク質(EGFP)との融合タンパク質からなる真菌検出プローブを開発し、特許を出願した。さらに、NMRによる立体構造解析により、ファクターGによるβ-1, 3-グルカン認識に必要な構造モチーフは、土壌細菌のセルロース結合タンパク質の糖鎖認識の構造モチーフと進化的に相同であることを明らかにした。
