Research Abstract |
Since crop plants are grown principally in uncontrolled field environments composed with various unstable environmental factors, their developmental responses (e.g., vegetative growth, floral initiation, heading, etc.) to the environments are difficult to analyze. In the present study a new approach is proposed in which photothermal responses of rice developmental genes to field environments are characterized based on phonological model and QTL information.
