Research Abstract

本研究は、キシュウミカンの突然変異により無核性を発現する'無核紀州'およびその後代の無核品種・系統における無核性発現機構を解明するために、種子および胚の形態形成過程における変異の発現を組織学的に明らかにするとともに、無核性発現に影響を及ぼす要因を明らかにする。また、'無核紀州'の種子形成過程で特異的に発現する遺伝子をサブトラクション法で解析し、無核性発現に関与する候補遺伝子を特定する。他方、'無核紀州'後代の交雑実生を育成し、種子形成を調査するとともに、簡易に無核性個体を判別する技術を開発し、無核性カンキツの育種における早期選抜技術を確立する。
