Research Abstract

(1) 細胞内イオン環境が脳の性分化に関わる機序について、ラットエストロゲン感受性遺伝子を対象としてtargeted gene array分析を実施し、細胞移動と細胞死に関わる遺伝子がエストロゲンにより内側視索前野性的二型核(SDN)と前腹側室周囲核で部位特異的に逆方向に制御されることを明らかにした。
(2) プロモータトランスジェニック法により標識した性腺刺激ホルモン放出ホルモン(GnRH)産生ニューロンでは細胞内Cl-イオン濃度が高いため、GABAによるGABAA受容体の活性化が興奮を起こすことを解明した。
(3) 同じく標識したエストロゲン受容体α陽性ニューロンの脳切片中の移動を傾向顕微鏡による映画により観察し、in vitroでの性差成立の機序を観察中である。
