| Research Abstract |
早産・低出生体重児における脳性麻痺の主たる病理所見である脳室周囲白質軟化症(PVL)ではオリゴデンドロサイト前駆細胞(OPC)が広範囲に壊死脱落していることが知られている。PVL発症のメカニズムを分析し、その予防・治療法を開発するため、本研究においてはOPCの分化・増殖に関与する因子の解析を行った。OPCは低温培養で分化は抑制され、G蛋白質のGα13が細胞膜上に存在するVDAC1(voltage dependent anion channel 1)と解離し、MAPキナーゼを活性化することで増殖することが明らかとなった。
