Research Abstract

本研究課題では、骨誘導デバイスの開発を前提に、永久磁石を用いた歯科用磁性アタッチメントの静磁場をウサギの骨形成過程で付与し、静磁場の骨形成に及ぼす影響を調べた。その結果、磁性アタッチメントによる静磁場は、骨形成の初期において、骨形成速度の向上に寄与し、その現象は骨の成長を促す骨牙細胞の増殖と分化の加速に起因することが明らかになった。これより、永久磁石を利用した骨誘導デバイスの可能性が示唆された。
