Research Abstract

口臭の主な原因は舌苔(舌の上にある苔状の組織)から生ずる気体である.そのため舌苔を除去することで口臭が抑制される.本研究では植物由来のタンパク分解酵素アクチニジンによりタンパク質を多く含む舌苔が分解・除去され、口臭が減少することを検討した.結果として、アクチニジンは口の中の細菌に影響を与えることなく舌苔の量を減少させ、それに伴って口臭を減少させることが確認された.
