| Research Abstract |
モンゴルにおいて1905年Bulnay地震と1957年Gobi-Altay地震で出現した, プレート内活断層として最大級の地震断層, および関連する断層変位地形を対象として, (1)航空写真と衛星画像の実体視判読, (2)地形地質現地調査, (3)写真測量を実施した. その結果, 広域活断層分布図が作成されるとともに地震時変位量や累積変位量, 平均変位速度, 地形面の年代, 古地震活動時期等のデータが得られ, 地震がどのように繰り返すのか等の議論が実現した.活断層
