| Research Abstract |
The research group visited the regions that belonged to "the Persinate Societies," such as Iran, Central Asia, South Asia and Turkey, and collected materials for history of the regions from 17^<th> to 19^<th> century. We confirmed the strong influence of Persianate Culture in eachregion, but some native researchers preferred the framework of nation-states in order to understand the history of the regions. Ironically, it shows the effectiveness of the concept of "the Persianate society", and will help us to organize more larger collaborative research.
