Research Abstract

本研究は、南米チリ共和国のアタカマ高地に設置した超伝導ミリ波分光放射計を用い、水蒸気同位対比およびオゾンの連続観測を行い、成層圏から中間圏における放射バランスの鍵を握る水蒸気とオゾンの季節変化・経年変化の実態把握とその変動メカニズムの解明を目指している。
上記の目的を達成するため、以下の項目にわたり観測装置の開発とそれを用いた観測を行う。
(1) 180-210GHz帯および250GHz帯のデュアルサイドバンド受信器用の超伝導素子の低雑音化開発を進める。
(2) 現有の180-210GHz帯大気分子分光観測装置を用いたH_2OおよびH_2^(18)Oの連続観測を行う。
(3) 新たな250GHz帯大気分子分光観測装置を開発し、水蒸気同位体HDOのスペクトル観測を行う。
(4) 亜熱帯域に位置するアタカマ高地における成層圏および中間圏水蒸気とその同位体の高度別季節変動・経年変化等の動態を観測的に明らかにする。
