Research Abstract

海水湖が海洋生物の異所的種分化の揺籃となっている可能性を検証する目的で、パラオ海水湖の生物多様性を以下の4 項目の研究計画により調査した。
(1) 閉鎖型及び開放型の海水湖で動物プランクトン、藻類、軟体動物、魚類等を採取する。
(2) 海水湖の種多様性を定量化、類型化する。
(3) 種多様性と環境条件の関連を解明する。
(4) 海水湖間の遺伝的分化を遺伝子分析により定量化し、固有進化の有無を検証する。
