| Research Abstract |
熱帯・亜熱帯性畑地雑草ツノアイアシは、MBOAを土壌へ放出し、植物生育抑制作用を示した。この生育抑制作は、土壌中の水に溶存しているMBOAが他の雑草に吸収されて発現した。MBOAは、ツノアイアシの根に近いほど多量に存在し、また、雑草抑制作用は、根から遠くなるに伴って低下した。MBOAは、本雑草の根部とともに茎葉部にも含まれるので、タイ国のように、圃場において茎葉部をマルチ資材として利用した場合には、土壌からの水分蒸発を抑制するとともに、MBOAのような他感物質による雑草制御効果が期待される。
