Research Abstract |
In this study, we have developed an education system for Taikyokuken using a motion capture device and multiple cameras which take human body motion. And also, we have developed several support systems for seniors to learn with personal computers. First, we developed a system by which users can manipulate 3D objects through the Internet. A blog was used to develop this function. Secondly, we have investigated some supporting functions for seniors to learn by PCs on the Net. On-line help desk is one of such support functions. In addition, we developed fundamental systems for other sports like classic ballet and table tennis. In the third result, we made fundamental examination to handle Web teaching materials effectively from various platforms. Podcasting is one of the best way to deliver motion training materials through the Net. For this purpose, we have developed a fundamental function to manipulate multimedia Web educational materials.
