Research Abstract

本研究は保育園の給食場面の長期縦断観察による子どもの行動変化の記述的研究である。3歳以降の子どもにとって重要な課題は、摂食それ自体ではなく、仲間と「楽しく食べる」談話活動への参加である。従来、幼児の給食は栄養補給の場としての役割が強調されてきたため、共食時の談笑には必ずしもよい評価が与えられてこなかった。しかし、社会性やコミュニケーション能力の発達に対して共食場面は極めて重要な学習の場であることが示唆された。
