Research Abstract |
Research on study support method in asynchronous distance education including experiments (1) Research of the study support system in a remote experiment : In asynchronous distance learning, student support systems are important such as supporting students' study, motivating students as well as guiding or supporting operations during remote experimenting. In this research, we proposed the remote control type experiment system with individual educational guidance function. We contributed the result to an academic journal, which was accepted. We submitted international conference papers and announced in the conferences. (2) Research of the study support method in cooperative study : The method of cooperative study is one of the research areas, which offers participants' motivation in asynchronous distant education environment. Research on the scheduling method of remote classes in asynchronous distance learning including experiment The asynchronous distance-learning course requires scheduling classes to determine an individual lesson schedule by adjusting many constraints, such as a course period, students' preferences for completion, detailed conditions, and resources of experimental devices. Furthermore, rescheduling is needed in case of changes of a participant's contents of completion, change of a lesson resource, etc. In this research, the lesson scheduling system for above cases was proposed. The result of research was contributed to an academic journal, and announced in international conferences. Research on study supporting system including remote experiment for educating embedded software engineers During research on the remote experiment systems, it became clear that embedded system engineers, especially embedded software engineers was sharply insufficient in Japan, and the request for embedded system education in university is strongly requested. Therefore, "the experiment system of an embedded system for learning HW development, SW development, and the basic acquisition including architecture design technique" was researched, and the student experiment system was proposed and the actual proof experiment was conducted. The results of research were announced in international conferences and domestic conferences and it was also contributed to an academic journal. The proposal experiment was not realized during the research period, although it was scheduled to be realized as an distance learning class.
