Research Abstract

ミズクラゲの大量発生と環境変動との関連性を調べた結果、海域の富栄養化とそれに伴う貧酸素水域の拡大および餌生物の小型が大きく影響していることが判明した。また、人工構造物の増加もポリプの生育に大きく貢献していることが明らかとなった。
