| Research Abstract |
21世紀末に予測されるCO_2濃度環境の下で、海産甲殻類の一種イソスジエビの生残が大きく低下した。しかし、より高いCO_2環境下でも海産コペポーダの一種Acartia tsuensisは生残・再生産に関してほとんど影響を受けず、甲殻類の中でもCO2感受性が大きく異なることが明らかになった。さらに二枚貝の一種ムラサキイガイの初期発生が高CO2環境下で強く阻害された。これらの結果は、将来のCO2増加による海洋酸性化が海洋生態系に負の影響を与える可能性を示している。
