| Research Abstract |
中国東部沿岸地域から大陸を離れる自然起源の黄砂粒子は、人為的な大気汚染物質をあまり含まらなく、比較的に清潔であった。西日本に飛来するまでに海塩との結合、硫酸塩・硝酸塩・塩酸塩の吸収により変質が生じた。海塩との結合により粒子の大きさは大きく変われ、硫酸塩・硝酸塩・塩酸塩の吸収により吸水能力は大きく向上された。これらの変化と変質の結果、黄砂粒子の地面(海面)への落下過程も、雲粒作りの役目も、素の黄砂粒子と比べ、大きく変わった。
