| Research Abstract |
欧米のリベラル派において主流となっている宗教多元主義や多元主義的宗教政策は、しばしば、非欧米圏におけるファンダメンタルな価値を追求する「排他主義」的立場を進化論的な優位性から批判する。しかし、価値の衝突を避けるためには、多元主義的モデルを、近代社会の普遍的な宗教理解・政教理解と短絡すべきではない。また、近現代史における宗教理解は、ナショナリズムとの関係を無視できない。それぞれの宗教は、置かれた土地に根ざそうとする根源的欲求を持つが、それが国家的な価値観に吸収されるプロセスにおいて、同化だけでなく反発・抵抗を生じるのであり、そのコンテキストの分析が平和構築のためには欠かせない。
