| Research Abstract |
本研究は平成14年度~平成16年度まで金刀比羅宮社務所の協力によって行った金刀比羅宮美術品の悉皆調査を踏まえ、その作業を継承しつつ、さらなる調査を進めて金刀比羅宮美術、とりわけ京都画人による絵画作品を柱に、その全貌を把握することを目的としている。
さらに、作品調査と並行して文献史料の調査を行い、江戸時代以来西洋の美術制度にさらされること無く保存されてきた金刀比羅宮美術の実態を総合的に把握する。
