| Research Abstract |
本研究は本居宣長および国学の近代における受容の具体的様相、とりわけ大東亜戦争(太平洋戦争)の時期において、いかに誤読され曲解され利用されたかということを、文学研究の立場と思想史研究の立場の両様からアプロ-チするものである。戦前・戦中期に刊行された研究書・雑誌・新聞などを丹念に調査し、その中から宣長観(国学観)を汲み取ることによって、逆に現代における宣長研究および国学研究がどのように生成してきたかということを明らかにしようとするものである。
