| Research Abstract |
This research determined the causes of late coming of nobles in the Heian era especially in the Sekkan era by gathering samples. In addition I surmised the origin of clepsydra and the time system in Japan, and clarified many points about cosmic structures believed in ancient and medieval Japan.
