| Research Abstract |
鷹狩の故実書や獣を獲物とする狩猟の故実書、さらに弓馬儀礼の故実書などを調査し、その他の記録・文書とあわせて、日本中世における狩猟文化を総合的に解明した。王朝の狩猟文化、特に天皇・院・摂関の権力と鷹狩の関係を探るとともに、武士の狩猟文化、特に武家首長の狩猟儀礼についても再考。鷹道を家業とする公家の実態も探り、中世における権力と狩猟の関係を、総合的かつ通史的に把握できるようになった。
