| Research Abstract |
電気機械及び器具製造業の発達史研究に資するため、基礎的な研究として幕末から明治前期にかけて電気に関する仕事に携わっていた人々と企業をリスト化した。その数は予想を大きく超え、個人営業の工場を含め企業160社以上、人物は2,000名を超えた。この成果はこの分野の研究の基礎データとなろう。また今回の研究で得られた知見は、平成21年秋に開催が決定している国立科学博物館・日本の科学者・技術者展第8回「日本を明るくした男たち」に活用される。
