本研究では、公共資源配分への市場メカニズム導入に関する実証的な政策分析を行った。具体的には、米国における空港発着枠配分への市場メカニズム導入の「失敗」を分析の対象とした。この政策に関するデータを包括的に用いた世界初の定量的分析が成果として得られた。
