| Research Abstract |
「リスクの経済学」が学問として市民権を得たのは、比較的最近の1980年代のことであるが、その起源は非常に古く18世紀のアダム・スミスの時代にまで遡ることが可能である。本研究においては、かかる「古くて新しい学問」の成立と発展の歴史について、その背景となる 社会的基盤事情と関係づけて体系的に解明することを目指した。
本研究を推進するために、数々の国際・国内学会・研究会・ワークショップに参加した。ごく近い将来に、集大成の単著『リスクの経済思想』(ミネルヴァ書房) を公刊する予定である。
