| Research Abstract |
日本とニュージーランドでの社会科における「基礎・基本」は、日本が個別知識における「基礎・基本」を強く打ち出しているのに対して、ニュージーランドはスキルの「基礎・基本」を主としている。スキルを強めることは、応用力や思考力を高めることにもなる。国際地理オリンピックの出題にもその傾向がみられる。日本でも、個別知識より概念知識を「基礎・基本」とすることで、スキルをも取り入れた、日本の知識重視の「基礎・基本」が無理なく改善できることを提言した。
