| Research Abstract |
Upper bound graphの構造をinduced subgraphの観点から捉えることを行い,induced subgraphとsubposetの間の関係をclique coverの立場から解明し,様々なupper bound graphの族の性質を解明することを目的とした.
Upper bound graphの構造をclique coverの立場から研究していく際に,大きさが一定のcliqueから構成されるgraphの一種であるk-treeの構造を調べる必要性を感じ,k-treeの構造を対応するtreeのleafの構成から検討した.特に,ktreeの構造を不変数leafageの観点から検討した。与えられた大きさのleafageを持つk-treeの存在とその構成法を得ることができた.
また,induced subgraphに対応するsubposetの性質に対するclique coverの観点から研究も行った.:Forbidden subgraphによって特徴付けられているgraphのupper bound graph性をinduced subgraphをカバーするcliqueの族の性質を検討することにより行った,各種のforbidden subgraphをupper bound性の観点から拡大したgraphとして捉え,split upper bound graph, threshold upper bound graph,Meyniel upper bound graph等のforbidden subgraphをupper bound graphとして再表現した結果を得た.
