Research Abstract

南部理論ではカイラル対称性が自発的に破れ、核子に質量が生じ、擬スカラー粒子であるパイオンが出現する。パイオンが引き起こすテンサー力の取り扱い法は非常に難しいがこの研究課題ではそれを相対論的カイラル平均場(RCMF)モデルとして確立した。RCMFモデルではパイオン相関を2粒子2空孔励起の変分関数で表現し、核子対が短距離で大きな存在確率を持つことを変分関数の中に取り込むことが重要であることを示した。成果としてパイオンが大半の引力を与えることを示し、さらには基底状態の波動関数には非常に大きな運動量成分があることを示した。今後の原子核物理の発展の基礎を与えた。
