Research Abstract

乱流輸送現象の基礎的な現象として乱流相対拡散を取り上げ、粒子対の相対距離の伸縮過程が、自己相似的な相関(持続性)を持つことを明らかにした。この伸縮過程を記述する確率密度分布関数に対する確率モデル(自己相似電信方程式)を作り、初期値問題を記述することができることを明らかにした。乱流揺らぎが支配的な系において、力学系的な視点から乱流の秩序形成や乱れ生成が理解できることを示した。
