Research Abstract

地球の周辺の宇宙空間には電気を帯びた微粒子が存在しており, 様々な場所でそれぞれ固有の速さで動いている. 本研究では, その微粒子の一部が姿を変えた中性の粒子の運動を検出する撮像のデータを主に用いて, 電気を帯びた微粒子であるイオンの太陽風から磁気圏への直接的な流入, 地球磁気圏の外壁であるマグネトポーズの運動, 電離圏から磁気圏へと上昇するイオンの流れに関して, これまでに知られていない性質を見出した.
