Research Abstract

アジア大陸東縁部は古生代末から中生代初頭にかけて成長してきた。その主な原因は微小大陸の衝突による。この衝突帯の深部で起こる現象を解明するため, これまであまり検討されてこなかった地域(ベトナム, 中国, 飛騨)を調査した。その結果,衝突帯の深部では,玄武岩質マグマがマントルから上昇することで地殻下部を溶かし, 花崗岩質マグマを形成することが明らかになった
