| Research Abstract |
生体分子のモデル分子とみなされるペプチド分子類および乳酸メチルに、一つ以上の水分子が水素結合したミクロ水和クラスターの純回転スペクトルを観測し、その解析から分子構造や分子内運動の性質に関する情報を導き出した。種々の1:1、1:2 クラスターのアイソマーを測定し、その構造や性質の変化を比較調査することにより、水素結合の形成が溶質分子を柔軟にしたり逆に硬くしたりするということを実験的に明らかにした。
