| Research Abstract |
タンパク質の機能を理解するには、タンパク質分子の精密な3次元構造を知ることが重要である。そのためには良質の単結晶を必要とするが、多くのタンパク質では良質な単結晶が得られず、研究遂行上のボトルネックとなっている。本研究では、タンパク質結晶の良質な単結晶を得るための研究の一貫として、インスリンの結晶形態制御および濃厚な液滴を経由して結晶が形成される現象についての基礎研究を行い、これまで報告されていなかった幾つかの新たな知見を得た
