| Research Abstract |
Zr-Al-C系で五種類の新規層状炭化物(ZrAl_4C_4とZr_2Al_4C_5, Zr_3Al_4C_6, ZrAl_8C_7, Zr_2Al_8C_8)を発見した. これらは一般式(ZrC)_l(Al_4C_3)_m(l=1~3, m=1~2)の新規ホモロガス相に属し, n型熱電変換材料として高い性能指数を示した. Zr席にYを, Al席にSiとGeを固溶置換すると熱電特性が操作できた. 理論計算の結果も熱電材料としての有望性を示した.
