Research Abstract

本研究では,純淡水魚類の種多様性が高い本州中部地域をモデルとして,多数の魚種を用いたミトコンドリアDNAに基づく比較系統地理解析を行った.比較的単純だと想定された鈴鹿山系による東西の分断に関連して,予測に一致する系統地理パターンと一致しないパターンが見いだされ,淡水魚類相形成の複雑性が明らかにされた.さらに将来的な発展的活用を目指し,淡水魚の遺伝的多様性データベース(GEDIMAP)の構築・公開を行った.
