| Research Abstract |
琉球列島で繁殖が記録されているコブラ科エラブウミヘビ属の2種、すなわちエラブウミヘビとヒロオウミヘビについて、(1)列島内繁殖地間での交流や隔離・分化の程度を明らかにした。また今回、国内ではじめて繁殖が確認されたアオマダラウミヘビを加えた同属3種を対象に、(2)繁殖、(3)食性、(4)捕食者に関する生態的データも収集し、個体群分類や多様性の理解、保全に資するべく、各種の地域差や種間関係の視点からとりまとめた。
