Research Abstract

粘液細菌よりcAMP依存性プロテインキナーゼ(PKA)の検索を試みた結果、PKAの特異的基質を最もよい基質とし, PKAの特異的阻害剤によって活性阻害を受けるSpkAキナーゼを得たが、真核生物のPKAで見られるcAMPと調節サブユニットによる酵素活性調節は見られなかった。
また、本菌のcAMP分解酵素は、その変異株より、胞子の発芽時の浸透圧ストレス応答に関与していると推定し、また、酵素学的諸性質の検討から、基質特異性の広い新規性の高い酵素であった。
